If you would like to visit the town of Lastovo, this bay might be ideal for you. It is located on the northern side of the island Lastovo and it is just 2 km away from the mentioned picturesque town.
This bay seems to have two entrances as it is sheltered by a small island but you can enter the bay only through the eastern entrance, as the other one is much too shallow. Inside the bay you have plenty of space to anchor, but you can also run a stern line to the small island. There are a few restaurants offering mooring for their guests, free of charge, while the village Zaklopatica has its own berths for which a fee is charged. Anchor holds well and the bay is well protected from all winds except from Bora. If you expect Bora, make sure you anchor under the small island on the north side of the bay with a stern line running to shore. In case of very strong Bora you can find shelter in a bay called Mali Lago, located a few miles to the west of Zaklopatica.
