Jezera is a fishing town on the island of Murter. The settlement was named after the small lakes that form during the autumn and winter due to rain that can flow into many karst depressions. It is assumed that the sheltered bay, where the lakes lie, attracted the first inhabitants in the early 13th century.
Jezera offer plenty of sun, clear sea and a bay with beautiful beaches. All of this guaranties a peaceful and pleasant vacation. Jezera is one of the starting ports for the sailing in the National Park Kornati. With a rich offer of local produce, dishes prepared in the traditional way, especially fish dishes and with a perfect setting for a peaceful island holiday, Jezera will satisfy even the most demanding guests.
In the naturally protected harbour you will find a marina with 250 berths, open all year round.
